Javier Lucero

Javier Lucero is an experienced educator with a strong background in technology integration and curriculum development. Currently serving as a PYP Innovation & Technology Coach at GEMS International School - Al Khail since August 2016, Javier focuses on enhancing learning through innovative practices. Previously, from August 2013 to July 2016, Javier worked as an English Teacher with the Department of Education and Knowledge - ADEK, advancing initiatives for the United Arab Emirates' educational models. Javier's earlier experience includes six years as an Instructional Technology Specialist at Cartwright Elementary District, where responsibilities included coaching teachers, leading professional development, and fostering collaborative practices. Javier holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Reading from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Education, Elementary Education from New Mexico State University.
