Sourav Deshpande

Sourav Deshpande is an accomplished Project Engineer Lecturer at Gen2 since September 2023, focusing on enriching curriculum delivery in Process Engineering and Business Management. Prior experience includes a role as Project Engineer at BD, where Sourav developed an inventory management model that enabled data-driven decision-making for inventory levels. As a Manufacturing Project Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer at General Machine Tools, Sourav successfully coordinated multiple projects, enhancing productivity and supplier relationships. Experience also includes a position as Manufacturing Quality Engineer at Eureka Industries, leading initiatives that improved operational efficiency. Sourav's educational background includes a Master's degree in Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems from Cranfield University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from DKTE's Textile and Engineering Institute. Currently, enrollment in a PgC in Learning and Teaching for Higher Education at the University of Cumbria is underway.
