Rakesh Lenka has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Rakesh started their career as a Software Engineer at DSR Solutions in July 2004 and worked there until March 2006. Following that, they joined IBM as a Software Engineer for a brief period from May 2006 to November 2006. Rakesh then transitioned to GE Healthcare, where they worked as a Design Engineer from November 2006 to August 2008. After that, they joined Siemens Energy as a Project Manager and worked there from August 2008 to September 2013.

In October 2013, Rakesh joined CA Technologies as a Principal Engineering Program Manager. During their tenure, they managed several large-sized projects across different Business Units and also served as a SAFe Program Consultant and Agile Coach, providing guidance on Agile Processes. Rakesh worked at CA Technologies until March 2016.

From March 2016 to July 2019, Rakesh worked as a Principal Program Manager, Engineering at NortonLifeLock. Rakesh led the Norton Endpoint Security Program management, overseeing 18 Scrum teams working on various components of the Norton Security Suite of products. In this role, they also coached and mentored leadership teams on Agile adoption and maturing agile practices.

In July 2019, Rakesh was promoted to the role of Senior Principal Program Manager at NortonLifeLock, where they continue to contribute their expertise in program management and Agile methodologies.

Rakesh Lenka holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Operations Management, which they obtained from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, during the years 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science from Utkal University between 2001 and 2004. In addition to their formal education, Rakesh has obtained several certifications, including Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum Alliance in August 2016, SAFe Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2015, PMI ACP from Project Management Institute in September 2014, PMP from Project Management Institute in January 2013, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in January 2012.
