Reyhaneh Hooshyar

Reyhaneh Hooshyar is a Principal Scientist and Project Leader in Immunology & Cell Biology at GenEdit, overseeing the Cell-Based Assay Development Group focused on innovative gene editing studies using nanoparticles for therapeutic applications in the immune system and central nervous system. Prior experience includes a role as Scientist II at Genentech, where Reyhaneh characterized tumor models for mRNA/DNA vaccine development and explored neoantigens for cancer immunotherapy. As a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at Michigan State University, Reyhaneh contributed to NIH-funded projects investigating environmental impacts on breast cancer, utilizing advanced research techniques.
