Matthieu Fabrega

Matthieu Fabrega is an experienced scientist with expertise in the development of qPCR methods for the diagnosis of various diseases, including blood-borne viruses and cancers. Currently a scientist at genedrive plc since December 2016 and at QIAGEN since May 2014, Matthieu has a strong background in assay optimization, regulatory compliance (ISO13485, GMP, FDA 510(k)), and Lean Product Development methodologies. Prior to these roles, Matthieu worked as a Development Scientist and Manufacturing Engineer at Bio-evolution, contributing to the development of qPCR kits and managing manufacturing processes under GLP and GMP standards. Matthieu also completed an internship at INRA GEQA, focusing on the development of a multiplex RT-qPCR test for detecting citrus pathogens. Matthieu holds a Master of Science degree from Agrocampus Ouest, obtained in 2011.
