Aaron Sterling

Chief Technical Officer Aaron Sterling, has a research background in biocomputing and development background in the financial industry. He was recently responsible for the implementation and rollout of a new above-the-fold design for the web pages of over 50 app teams of The Vanguard Group, a large retirement firm. This project required programming and prioritizing the needs of dozens of stakeholders in both the IT and business sides of the company. In August 2020, Vanguard gave Aaron a corporate award for improving the design of some of the most heavily trafficked pages in the financial industry. Aaron’s peer-reviewed publications have appeared in conferences and journals focused on semantic ontologies, distributed systems, and DNA computing. In 2009, Aaron received a research award from the International Society of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. In his work with GeneICD, Aaron plans strategic objectives for the whole team. He delivers a level of managerial expertise in ensuring long-term security, vision delivery, and fluidity between the lab, cloud service, and delivery to the provider.
