Ruchir Shah

Ruchir Shah, PhD, is an experienced leader in medical affairs and scientific communications with a robust background in neuroscience. Currently serving as the USMA Team Lead in Business Development and Principal Medical Science Director for Alzheimer’s Disease at Genentech since September 2020, Ruchir has previously held several senior positions, including Senior Vice President at Weber Shandwick and Senior Editor at PLOS Biology. Ruchir's expertise encompasses coordinating peer-review processes, evaluating biological literature, and developing scientific communication strategies. With dual PhDs in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine and Yale School of Medicine, Ruchir also completed postdoctoral work at esteemed institutions such as Yale University and New York University.
