Darren Stephenson

Darren Stephenson is an emerging venture capital professional currently serving as a Venture Scholar in Cohort 13 at VC University since June 2023, where access to mentorship and resources is provided to underrepresented VCs. In addition, Darren works as a Program Manager at gener8tor and holds the position of Senior Fellow at HBCUvc, contributing to a fellowship program focused on venture investing fundamentals. Previous experience includes a Venture Capital Internship at Redpoint Ventures and a Senior Tax Management Consultant role at Deloitte, along with early career positions as a Tax Technology Analyst at DMA - DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. and a Summer Intern at the City of Wilmington's Office of the Mayor. Darren graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Morehouse College in 2016.
