Annelien Bekkering

Annelien Bekkering has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Annelien recently worked as a Director of Legal and Compliance at General Atlantic. Prior to that, they served as a Stakeholder Coordinator at Group Compliance in ING bank. Annelien also worked as a Compliance Officer at Flow Traders and held the position of Fundraiser & Board Secretary at /entrée, Vereniging Jong Publiek van het Koninklijk Concertgebouw-en orkest. Additionally, Annelien had internships at Simmons & Simmons and Bremer & De Zwaan Advocaten. Annelien started their career as a Front Office Employee at Agis Zorgverzekeringen. Annelien also took part in various leadership roles, such as Treasurer of the Financiële Commissie U.V.S.V./N.V.S.S.U. and Chairwoman of the Opening Concert of the 110th anniversary of U.V.S.V./N.V.V.S.U.

Annelien Bekkering began their education at Geert Grote College from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained an Athenaeum degree. Annelien then attended Utrecht University from 2005 to 2010, earning a Bachelor's degree in Law. Annelien further pursued their education at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2009 to 2010, participating in a Master exchange program focused on International Law and Legal Studies. Finally, they attended Utrecht University again from 2010 to 2012, completing their Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Law and Antitrust Law.
