Ammar Alanazi

Ammar Alanazi is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. Currently serving as the Director of Data Analytics at the General Authority For Statistics, Ammar specializes in developing data acquisition strategies and ensuring the quality of large datasets. Ammar has also held advisory roles at SAFE PAY and noura.ai, focusing on creating custom AI and blockchain solutions. Previous positions include leadership roles at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, where Ammar founded and directed several research centers, and strategic consulting for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia. Ammar's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from UNSW, complemented by a Master’s in Information Technology and a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
