Barry Beckman

Barry Beckman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and manufacturing within the defense industry. Currently retired from General Dynamics Mission Systems since October 2023, Barry previously held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at W5 Technologies, Inc under contract to General Dynamics from April 2015 to June 2024. Between 2006 and 2014, Barry served as Operations Project Lead and Manufacturing Engineer at General Dynamics C4 Systems, where responsibilities included overseeing assembly activities and hardware integration for major commercial off-the-shelf programs while fostering collaboration with design teams to enhance producibility and cost efficiency. Barry's career with General Dynamics began in 1982 as a Manufacturing Engineer, culminating in over two decades of contributions to engineering and production processes. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned in 1980.
