Dr. Joseph Pollock

Dr. Joseph Pollock, CISSP-ISSEP, has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Dr. Joseph currently serves as the Cybersecurity Services Manager and Commander, Cyber Joint Task Force for the Arizona U.S. Army National Guard, where they are responsible for developing an incident response program and ensuring cybersecurity protocols are followed. Dr. Joseph also provides cyber hunting and malware analysis training.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Pollock worked as the Principal Cybersecurity Engineer Lead at General Dynamics Mission Systems. In this position, they managed a team of security engineers and delivered IA security training. Dr. Joseph was also responsible for creating security documentation and test procedures.

Dr. Pollock has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Advancing Technology, where they taught network security and engineering, security architecture, and information security compliance. Dr. Joseph achieved a high student pass rate through their innovative teaching methods.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Pollock was an Information Security Analyst at NTT Ltd., where they reviewed and monitored security events and incidents. Dr. Joseph also worked as a Cyber Security Analyst for a DoD Contractor, assisting with the implementation of cybersecurity programs and conducting analysis on various topics.

Before entering the cybersecurity field, Dr. Pollock served as a Network Security Analyst and Systems Support for the Nebraska National Guard. Dr. Joseph was responsible for overseeing network equipment, creating standard operating procedures, and improving IT processes.
