Eric Clark

Eric Clark has over 30 years of work experience in the field of software engineering, with a focus on encryption and cybersecurity. Eric started their career at BAE Systems as a Systems Engineer, where they led a team in the development and testing of a Weapons Control project. Eric then joined General Electric as an Edison Engineering Graduate, completing rotational assignments in various areas such as software design and manufacturing engineering. After that, they worked at Sienar Fleet Systems as a Software Engineer, developing software for avionics systems used in Twin Ion Engine Fighters. Eric then moved on to Bechtel, where they served as a Microprocessor Engineer, responsible for the review and approval of software code and documentation for Navy Nuclear Program applications. Currently, Eric is working at General Dynamics Mission Systems as a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Software Task Manager, leading a team of engineers in the development of major cryptographic upgrades for IP encryptor products. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated skills in C++, C, object-oriented analysis and design, and has received multiple awards for technical achievement.

Eric Clark holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. In 1990, they continued their education at Binghamton University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering, completing it in 1993. To further their expertise, Eric earned a Graduate Certificate in Guitar Performance from Musicians Institute in 1994. In 2003, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Information Security from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, Eric has obtained several certifications, including "Certified Ethical Hacker" from EC-Council in 2017, "Certified Scrum Master" from Scrum Alliance in 2016, and "Goethe-Zertifikat A2" from the Goethe-Institut e.V. in 2023. Eric also holds a "Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Start Deutsch 1" from Goethe-Institut Boston, although the year of attainment is not specified.
