Michelle Decepida

Michelle Decepida has extensive experience in engineering and program management, currently serving as the Deputy Program Manager for Engineering at General Dynamics Mission Systems since July 2014. In this role, Michelle coordinates a team of engineers to support cross-contractor initiatives for enhancing customer capabilities within a digital engineering framework, while managing the project budget. Previous positions at General Dynamics include leading agile teams as a Product Owner and Scrum Master, as well as overseeing integrated product teams and managing testing efforts. Michelle's earlier career includes internships and co-op experiences at Pratt & Whitney and other organizations, where research and engineering support were central tasks. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
