Rick Marshall has a diverse background with extensive experience in the defense industry. Rick began their career as an Electrical Engineer at Orbital Sciences Corporation in 1992 before moving on to Motorola Government Electronics Group as a Hardware Design Engineer. Rick then joined General Dynamics C4 Systems in 2001, where they held roles as a Systems Engineer, Proposal Manager/Project Lead, and Engineering Task Lead/Assistant Project Lead. In 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at General Dynamics C4 Systems, responsible for test script conversion and avionics module testing. Marshall later transitioned to General Dynamics Mission Systems in 2016 as a Principal Digital Signal Processing Engineer. Rick also gained experience at Intel Corporation as a Hardware Applications Engineer, providing technical support and developing debugger tools. Overall, Marshall has a strong background in hardware and software engineering, with expertise in real-time embedded programming and test and evaluation.

Rick Marshall holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho. In addition, they are a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, obtained in June 2008 from (ISC)².
