Clifford Hackney

Clifford (Cliff) Hackney spent 42 years working for E.W. Scripps Company and Paws Inc. (The Garfield the Cat comic studio). Mr. Hackney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. During his professional career, he held several accounting, audit, and sales related positions for the Garfield and Peanuts comic strips. He retired as Vice President of Sales in 2013 after having negotiated hundreds of licensing contracts for the use of the comic characters on products ranging from apparel and pet products to advertising spokesperson. Cliff lives in West Chester with his wife (Cindy). He currently is a member of the West Chester Board of Zoning Appeals and Chaired the West Chester Joint Economic Development District Board for a period of six (6) years. Cliff enjoys spending time with his four (4) grandchildren and is an avid baseball fan.

Cliff Hackney has been a member of the Supervisory Committee since 2017.
