Marisa Hayes

Marisa Hayes has over a decade of experience in property tax management, currently serving as AVP Property Tax at GM Financial since August 2012. In this role, Marisa focuses on improving process efficiencies for compliance through the implementation of software solutions, managing unclaimed property audits, and overseeing the Voluntary Disclosure Agreement (VDA) process. Previous positions at GM Financial include Property Tax Manager, where responsibilities encompassed US business personal property tax compliance and team management, as well as roles as Property Tax Supervisor and Sr Indirect Tax Analyst. Prior experience includes working as a Tax Accountant at Alcon from December 2007 to July 2012. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management.
