Achim Pantfoerder

Achim Pantfoerder is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in product and program management across leading technology companies. As Vice President of Software and Services Program Management Office at General Motors since June 2024, Achim oversees strategic initiatives. Previously at Lucid Motors from January 2021 to October 2023, Achim successfully built the Product Management Office and directed efforts for the launch of the Lucid Air. Achim’s tenure at Apple spanned from 2005 to 2020, where leadership roles included Senior Director of Apple Pay Product Management and Senior Director of iPhone Program Management, contributing significantly to the development of payment solutions and multiple generations of iPhones. Earlier roles include VP Product Development at Tropian, Program Manager at Siemens, Manager Software at Infineon Technologies, and System Engineer at Airbus Helicopters. Achim holds a PhD in Applied Physics and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Kassel.
