Jennifer Wheeler is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in advanced combustion development and engine performance improvement. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at General Motors since August 2014, Jennifer focuses on the development and testing of innovative engine combustion concepts to enhance fuel economy, performance, emissions, and production feasibility. Previously, as a Group Leader at AVL from March 2007 to July 2014, Jennifer specialized in emissions reduction and engine performance enhancement projects, acting as the technical lead for various initiatives involving HCCI combustion and advanced simulation techniques. Prior roles include Engine Program Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where Jennifer contributed to robustness improvements for modular engines, and Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin, developing a spray model for a 3D CFD combustion model. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
