K. Nicole Clouse

K. Nicole Clouse has a strong background in intellectual property law and biomedicine. K. Nicole is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Intellectual Property at Generate Biomedicines since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an IP Counsel at Biogen from May 2020 to July 2022. From 2011 to 2020, they were associated with McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where they held the position of Partner / Associate. Before that, they worked as a Patent Agent and Staff Scientist at Choate, Hall & Stewart from 2006 to 2011. Nicole also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School from 1998 to 2000.

K. Nicole Clouse received a B.A. in Biological Chemistry with a minor in English from Wellesley College in 1998. K. Nicole then obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University in 2006. In 2008, they completed a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Registered US Patent Attorney from the USPTO in the same year.
