Shilpa Bhatia

Shilpa Bhatia is a Senior Scientist at Generate Biomedicines since January 2023. Previously, Shilpa served as Scientist II at Repertoire Immune Medicines from 2021 to 2022, where Shilpa employed the proprietary DECODE program to identify disease-relevant Antigen-TCR pairs in head and neck cancer patients for the advancement of T cell therapies. During the tenure as a Research Instructor/Post-doctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Denver from 2017 to 2021, Shilpa investigated the role of tyrosine kinase receptor genes in the tumor immune microenvironment and led studies on developing radiosensitizing agents for medulloblastoma and head and neck cancers. Shilpa holds a Ph.D. in Cancer Gene Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and a Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research.
