Dr. Brett Rangiira has been an educator for over thirty years, and he has worked in a variety of Australian school and district roles during this time. Since 2003 he has also worked as a math and science consultant for New York Public Schools. His areas of expertise include middle and high school math and science education and supporting teachers to develop their practice.
His doctoral studies investigated the field of teacher professional identity and agency and his thesis identified core elements which enhance teacher effectiveness in the classroom.
