Ines Ellis-Guardiola

Ines Ellis-Guardiola is a consultant at Generation Ready. Prior to that, they worked as a dual-language math coach at Cypress Hills Community School from 2007 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for working with new and experienced teachers to improve mathematics instruction and increase math content understanding among students. Ines also infused lessons with language awareness to benefit language learners, a key demographic in US schools.

From 2005 to 2007, Ines Ellis-Guardiola worked as an executive assistant at MATCH. And from 2004 to 2005, they worked as a tutor at MATCH School.

Ines Ellis-Guardiola is a Master of Education who has specialized in Principals Institute at the Bank Street College of Education. Ines also has a Certificate of Bilingual/ESL Teacher Leadership from the same school, which qualifies their to teach ELLs, ESL, and Curriculum Leadership, as well as to lead Professional Development and Teacher Evaluation. Prior to their time at Bank Street, they obtained their MA in Elementary Education with a Bilingual Extension from Hunter College, and their BA in Art Theirtory from Carleton College.
