Karanja Kiburi

Karanja Kiburi currently serves as the Vice President of Enterprise Technology & Services at Genesco since February 2023. Previously, Karanja held the position of Vice President of IT - Operations and Architecture at Caleres, Inc. from February 2016 to February 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing technology infrastructure strategy and maintaining IT systems integrity and security. Karanja's prior experience at Express Scripts spanned several roles including Sr. Director IT - Corporate Systems, focusing on innovation in back-office capabilities, and Director IT for multiple systems, leading teams to develop departmental strategies. Additional roles include managing IT projects at Anheuser-Busch InBev and Anheuser-Busch Companies, overseeing Business Intelligence initiatives at Nexstar Financial Corporation, and consulting at Daugherty Business Solutions. Karanja holds an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Harris-Stowe State College.
