Matthew Koon

Matthew Koon is currently working at Genesee & Wyoming Inc. since November 2007 as the Director Safety & Compliance for the American Region and Western Region. Matthew previously worked as a Locomotive Engineer/Conductor at Union Pacific Railroad from August 2003 to November 2007. Matthew holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Northridge and College of the Canyons. Matthew is responsible for overseeing and auditing records to ensure that railroads in the region meet all federal and state regulatory requirements.
