M. Eng. Ali Soudavari Pe, P.eng.

Ali Soudavari, M. Eng. PE, P.Eng. has over 25 years of work experience in the engineering field. Ali is currently working as a Senior Process & Safety Engineer at Genesis Energy, L.P. where they started in January 2019. Prior to this, they worked at KBR-AMCDE as a Technical Advisor in Process/Safety & Production from February 2018 to December 2018. Their responsibilities included reviewing technical documents, participating in audits and design reviews, and developing project scopes and budgets.

Before KBR-AMCDE, Ali worked at HQ SPEC Engineering Inc. as a Lead Process/Project Engineer from June 2014 to February 2018. Ali led a team of engineers to execute projects for various clients and ensured compliance with quality management systems. Ali also worked as a Lead Process Engineer at SNC-Lavalin from July 2012 to July 2014, where they contributed to the review of process documents, attended design review meetings, and conducted HAZOP analysis.

Prior to SNC-Lavalin, Ali worked at Ausenco as a Principal Process Engineer from February 2011 to July 2012. Ali specialized in debottlenecking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for operating plants.

Ali's earlier work experience includes roles at SNC Lavalin Group as a Sr. Process Engineer, Bantrel Co. as a Sr. Process Engineer, Zolal Iran Co. as Project Manager/Process Manager, and Faraz Avaresh Co. as Project & Marketing Manager.

Throughout their career, Ali has gained expertise in process and safety engineering, project management, and reviewing technical documents. Ali has worked on various projects for clients in the oil and gas industry, including Saudi Aramco, Petrojunin, and Husky Sunrise Oil Sands.

Ali Soudavari, M. Eng. PE, P.Eng., has a strong educational background in the field of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. Ali obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, which they attended from 1980 to 1985. Later, they pursued higher education and earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Ali Soudavari holds several certifications that further enhance their professional qualifications. Ali is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certified by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), and The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in various areas such as project management, quality certification, process safety, and simulation software.
