Erika Eshleman Terhaar currently serves as the Director of Development at By Faith Farm and the Client Care Coordinator at Trauma Therapy of Nashville, both positions held since 2024. Additionally, Erika has been a member of the Board of Directors at Genesis Learning Centers since 2021. Previous roles include Virtual Assistant for Frecklefaced Adventures and By Faith Farm, Noom Guide and Goal Specialist at Noom Inc., Educational Consultant at EJT Education, and Community Ambassador and Educational Consultant at Autism Tennessee. Erika's foundational experience includes serving as Autism Services Coordinator at Easterseals serving Chicagoland and Rockford, as well as Program Coordinator and Student Support Coordinator at Giant Steps. Erika holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Miami University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University-Portland.

Welcome to Genesis Learning Centers and thank you for your interest in our services and programs. Our specialty is providing therapeutic schools and services for children and adolescents who are experiencing intense emotional, behavioral, developmental, and learning challenges or difficulties. As a non-profit agency since 1984, we are proud to call Nashville and the communities of Middle Tennessee our home as we strive to meet the needs of our unique and exceptional students. It is our dedicated purpose to see that each of our students can know and demonstrate that they are able to learn new things; they are in control of their own emotions and behaviors; and each one of them is a positive, capable individual who has the potential to be a happy, successful family and community member.
