Brette Chapin has always been interested in science and medicine. Brette pursued their interests by studying chemistry at Durham University, where they earned their MChem degree. After graduation, Brette worked as a solid state chemist for Onyx Scientific Ltd. and then as a post-doctoral research associate at Durham University. While working on their PhD, Brette became interested in medical writing and market access. Brette decided to pursue a career in medical writing and market access after completing their PhD.

Brette has been working as a medical writer and analyst for Genesis Research for the past year and a half. In their current role, Brette is responsible for writing and editing scientific papers, reports, and grant applications. Brette also provides market analysis and support to the sales and marketing teams. Brette’s previous experience as a solid state chemist and post-doctoral research associate have been invaluable in their current role.

In their free time, Brette enjoys spending time with their family and friends, reading, and traveling.

Brette Chapin received their PhD in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin in 2016. Brette completed their undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College in 2011.
