Sarah Bay

Sarah Bay, PhD, is a Scientific Editor and Program Manager at the Genetics Society of America (GSA) since July 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing scientific communication and project management to enhance GSA programs and journals. Prior roles include Journals Assistant Editor and GSA Programs Manager, where Sarah contributed to communication initiatives and the peer review process, and Science Writer, focusing on content for the Genes to Genomes blog. Sarah's academic background includes a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University, where experiences as a Graduate Student involved developing research strategies and a Graduate Teaching Assistant facilitated undergraduate genetics courses. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in English and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harding University.
