Lauren Fernandez, BS, RN

Lauren Fernandez, BS, RN has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare field. Lauren'smost recent position is as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at The Mount Sinai Hospital, starting in July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Registered Nurse Medical Tester for Covid-19 at GENETWORx since October 2020. Lauren Fernandez, BS, RN, completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Lauren has also obtained several additional certifications, including COVID-19 Pulmonary, ARDS, and Ventilator Resources from AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses) in September 2020, Registered Nurse certification from the New York State Education Department in July 2020, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association in April 2021, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association in December 2020, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association in September 2020.
