Huub Te Plate

Huub te Plate has extensive experience in various leadership and marketing roles within the agricultural industry. Huub started their career at Holland Genetics in 1991, where they held several positions, including breeding specialist export and unit manager large accounts. In these roles, they were responsible for marketing and sales in key areas and oversaw the development of high potential areas. Huub joined Cooperative Resources International in 2000 as an associate vice president, where they were accountable for marketing activities in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Huub recruited and managed distributors/joint ventures, developed and implemented marketing plans, and targeted key accounts. In 2005, Huub te Plate joined Genex as Vice President International Marketing, overseeing the operational responsibilities of the international division marketing staff and the company's internationally owned or co-owned companies. Huub later became the Senior Vice President International Marketing and then Chief Operating Officer. In 2020, they assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Genex, where they lead the overall strategic direction of the company.

Huub te Plate obtained their MSc in Animal Science and Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University & Research, completing their degree between 1985 and 1991.
