Danita Schuurhuis

Danita Schuurhuis has extensive experience in the field of immunology, currently serving as a Scientific Writer at Genmab B.V. in Utrecht since May 2008. Prior to this role, Danita worked as a post-doctoral researcher at NCMLS, TIL from March 2004 to April 2008, focusing on optimizing dendritic cell vaccines for melanoma and colon cancer patients. Danita also held post-doctoral positions at UMC St Radboud and completed a PhD at Leiden University Medical Center, where research centered on dendritic cell induction of cytotoxic T lymphocyte responses. Danita's academic background includes a degree in immunology from Utrecht University, complemented by earlier educational experiences at Gymnasium Celeanum Zwolle and Oosterenk School.
