Jimin Zhang

Principal Scientist, Translational Medicine (late Stage Translational Research) at Genmab

Jimin Zhang has extensive experience in the field of translational medicine and pharmacology. They have recently worked as a Principal Scientist in Translational Medicine at Genmab since November 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at Insmed Incorporated, including Associate Principal Scientist, Assistant Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. During their time at Insmed Incorporated, they led research projects, collaborated with cross-functional teams, advanced pipeline programs to clinical stages, and developed biomarker assays. Jimin also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Child Health Institute of New Jersey and as a Graduate Fellow at the Department of Molecular Genetics, Microbiology & Immunology.

Jimin Zhang has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Sun Yat-sen University. They also hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology from Rutgers University. Additionally, Jimin Zhang obtained a certification in "Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research" from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center in April 2014.
