Abed Chaudhury is a distinguished scientist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in research and innovation within the life sciences industry. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Genofax® Life Sciences since September 2022, Chaudhury also leads research innovation at Loam Bio and Soil Carbon Company. Previous roles include Director at VitaGrain and VitaRice, Principal Scientist at Syngenta Australia and New Zealand, and Senior Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO. Academic credentials include a Hoffman LaRoche Fellowship in Molecular Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon, complemented by a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Dhaka.
