Richard Cai

Richard Cai has diverse work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Richard started their career at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a PostDoc Researcher, working in R&D from December 2008 to September 2011. Richard then joined Sigma-Aldrich as a Senior Field Application Scientist in Marketing from September 2011 to January 2012. Following this, they worked at Gene Company Limited as a Department Manager in Marketing & Business Development from February 2012 to March 2014. Richard then became a Partner and Vice President at 3DMedicines from March 2014 to September 2014. Richard continued their career at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a National Focus Account Sr. Manager from September 2014 to January 2017. Currently, Richard holds the position of Director of Application Support & Business Development at GenomiCare Biotechnology, starting in January 2017.

Richard Cai has a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Life Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China (2003-2008). Richard also worked as an Exchange Research Scholar in Oncology and Cancer Biology at Emory University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2008.
