Laís de Almeida is a Principal Service Designer at Genomics England since September 2023, previously serving as a Senior Service Designer at Google Health and a Service Designer at DeepMind. With extensive experience in service design, Laís has contributed to various organizations, including serving as a Visiting Tutor at the Healthcare & Design MRes Programme at the Royal College of Art/Imperial College London and working as an Independent Consultant. Laís has been involved in multiple projects focusing on healthcare improvement, communication strategies, and social enterprises, notably co-founding RentSquare, a platform aimed at optimizing rental decisions. Laís holds a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London and a Master of Arts in Service Design from the Royal College of Art, along with undergraduate degrees in design and industrial design from Politecnico di Milano and Faculdade de Arquitectura de Lisboa, respectively.
