Camilo Padron

Head, Business Development at GenoSUR

Camilo Padron is Head of Business Development at GenoSUR. He is responsible for creating strategic business partnerships and driving revenue sources to the company. Camilo is a business leader and social entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in strategic marketing, and expertise in customer engagement.

As a business leader, Camilo has successfully assisted startups and prominent enterprises to reach next-level market growth, including Natcom Global, ValueDOC, and Florida Funders. In addition, he serves as president of the USA chapter of ASELA – Association of Entrepreneurs of Latin America. He was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2018 by Miami Today, proudly sits on the advisory board at the Idea Center of Miami Dade College, and is a key contributor to building innovative programs at Miami Dade College, including Startup Nation and, most recently, Cyber Security Center of the Americas. He is an advisor for entrepreneurship at the Israel and Spain Consulates in Miami.

Camilo earned his BA in Communications from the University of Central Florida, an MBA from Florida International University, and is a member of the CMO Council.
