Rajesh Shinde

Rajesh Shinde joined Genprex as Senior Director of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology. Prior to Genprex, Rajesh was the Head of CMC and Nanotechnology at Aviceda. At Aviceda, he was responsible for the development of Nanoparticle-enabled Glycocode drug products from early discovery to development, tech transfer and GMP manufacturing. In this role, Rajesh led all the CMC activities in drug substance, RSMs and drug product including process and analytical method development and regulatory filings.

Prior to Aviceda, Rajesh worked at various biotech companies such as Decibel Therapeutics and Tarveda. He was an integral part of several R&D programs and has taken drugs from early discovery through clinical development. At Abraxis Biosciences, he was the lead scientist responsible for the development of new nanoparticles based on the nab (nanoparticles of albumin) platform.

Rajesh offers a strong expertise in drug delivery, with a focus on nanotechnology. He relishes the challenges in drug development and is passionate about using delivery tools to improve the performance of the drugs. He has several publications and patents to his name and is a proven leader who has successfully created and led cross-functional teams.
