Dex (ChengXiang) Ren

Dex (ChengXiang) Ren's work experience began in 2015 as a Laboratory Technician II at Deibel Laboratories. They later became a Microbiologist at the same company, performing confirmation and isolation of food-borne pathogens. In 2017, Dex joined Merck as a Quality Specialist, where they updated and aligned the site's EM program to regulatory standards and performed EM data analysis and investigations. From 2019 to 2021, Dex worked at Novartis as an Associate Scientist in QC Microbiology, conducting microbiological testing and building a database of results. In 2022, Dex became a QC Analyst at Advanced Accelerator Applications, responsible for microbiological and analytical testing. They are currently working as a Sr. Scientist, Quality Control at GenScript ProBio.

Dex (ChengXiang) Ren graduated from St. John's University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Psychology. Dex (ChengXiang) obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from the same university during the same time period. In terms of additional certifications, Dex has received several qualifications from PADI, including Open Water Diver in April 2018, Enriched Air Diver in December 2018, Advanced Open Water Diver in December 2018, Rescue Diver in December 2020, and Certified First Responder in December 2020.
