Francesco Galluppi has been working in the field of software development, research and development, and academia for several years. Francesco started their career at Accenture as a Senior Programmer, where they worked on a production Telecom Italia platform, ensuring uninterrupted access and services for data connection systems. Francesco then moved on to UPMC - Sorbonne Universities as a Postdoctoral researcher, where they conducted research for two years. Francesco furthered their research at the University of Manchester as a Postdoctoral Researcher, working on the SpiNNaker project and exploring connections with robots, neuromorphic sensors, and image processing. Francesco also worked as a Teaching Assistant during this time. Currently, Francesco is employed at GenSight Biologics as a Software Development & Clinical Design Leader, responsible for leading software development and clinical design projects.
Francesco Galluppi's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at Università degli studi Roma TRE. Francesco pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and successfully completed the program in 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2010, Galluppi attended Sapienza Università di Roma, where they attained a Master's degree in Cognitive Psychology. Finally, in 2010, Galluppi joined The University of Manchester to pursue a PhD in Computational Neuroscience, and they completed this doctoral program in 2013.
