Rahul Shonak

Rahul Shonak is an experienced professional in the electric vehicle industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Gensol Electric Vehicles since March 2022, where responsibilities include developing multi-product electric vehicles and establishing a new manufacturing facility. As the Founder of ThatsmyEV, Rahul is building India's largest E-marketplace for electric vehicles, and has previously founded Metalloid Labs to create multiple electric vehicle businesses. Notable past roles include serving as Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at Nexzu Mobility, where a range of electric scooters and cycles were launched, and managing global procurement and CKD business at Mahindra Rise. With a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering, Rahul's career also includes pivotal positions at Ford Technology Services India, International Tractors Limited, and Nagata India Operations.
