John Addeo

John Addeo advises Genstar Capital in the area of insurance services.

Mr. Addeo was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Confie Seguros, a former Genstar portfolio company, focused on consolidating profitable insurance brokerages serving the Hispanic community. Mr. Addeo is a 45 year insurance industry executive and has led the build-up of three national insurance brokerage companies: USI Insurance Services Corp., Alliant Insurance Services, Inc., and Confie Seguros.

Prior to building USI, Alliant, and Confie, Addeo spent 20 years with Frank B Hall & Co., Inc. (NYSE), a leading international insurance brokerage company. At Hall, Addeo held various senior level positions in finance and operations. Mr. Addeo graduated from Manhattan College, and began his career as a CPA working for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell. He is currently on the Board of Alera Group, a Genstar investment, as well as on the Board of wholesale insurance broker Worldwide Facilities.
