In this role, you will be responsible for driving top line growth to increase customer acquisition and retention and contribute directly to the overall business growth trajectory globally. You will be responsible to create the top of mind for Gentari as Asia Pacific’s most preferred clean energy solution provider among potential customers/off-takers through understanding their decarbonization pains and providing creative business solutions. The deals you secure will determine the company’s profitability and future sustainability.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Sales Plans

  • Formulate and implement strategic marketing strategies and initiatives and sales plans, in line with the business objectives.
  • Drive the development and use of functional tools/ processes to develop differentiation, targeting and positioning strategies.
  • Lead the development, prioritization and cross-functional alignment with approved marketing plans & initiatives and influencing stakeholder's planning and priorities.

Price Intelligence & Contract Price Negotiations

  • Formulate pricing strategies and mechanisms based on tailored solutions to customers whilst ensuring competitive pricing and market relevance.
  • Strategize and develop negotiation tactics for offtake agreements with new customers and price reviews (where/when necessary), whilst establishing appropriate measures to manage potential risks.

Business Development & Integrated Solutions

  • Drive focused business development activities in the region via comprehensive assessment of macro- and micro-economic drivers, domestic business environment as well as upside potential & challenges, and drive innovative solutions tailored for the region.

Partners, Stakeholders and Customer Relationship Management

  • Drive customer relationship management to strengthen customer relationship/ interface and gain customer confidence.
  • Develop new and enhance existing intelligence networking with customers, stakeholders, industry players and industry experts to improve understanding, increase knowledge, on the latest development in clean energy industry.

Policy, Governance & Risk Management

  • Align, define and direct respective business areas’ portfolios while ensuring continuous alignment with Gentari’s aspirations & expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering or similar fields with high numeracy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key market drivers in hydrogen / ammonia or low-carbon energy industry.
  • 10-15 years of professional experience within the related functions e.g. commercial operations and contract management.
  • Experience in developing, structuring, and negotiating offtake contracts including pricing strategies
  • A strong understanding of Asia’s (specifically Far East and/or Australia) energy industry, policy and regulatory framework, and strategic roadmaps for decarbonization.
  • Has extensive localized experience and networking, demonstrable experience in leading strategic conversations with stakeholders, including deliberations of strategic options and trade-offs.
  • Creative, flexible, commercial-centric, and solution-focused, and has strong interest in the clean energy industry.
  • Possess a high-level of integrity, articulative and a clear communicator, and a team player.
