Sue Franz

Sue Franz is currently the Vice President of Chemical Technologies at Gentex. Sue previously worked at SPECTRO Analytical Instruments GmbH from December 1988 to June 1996 as the Applications Lab Manager. In this role, they supported Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) product marketing and sales for the German-based startup. Sue also conducted sale presentations, product demonstrations and customer trainings. Her work was key in the company’s growth to become a top competitor in the analytical instruments industry.

Sue Franz began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Jilin University. Sue then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Chemistry from the same school. After working for a while, they decided to return to school to get their Master of Management from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Villanova University.
