Yourui Tong

Yourui Tong Prenzler is a Senior Research Scientist at Gentherm, where responsibilities include leading research projects aimed at enhancing occupant comfort and wellness in vehicle climate control and pneumatic systems, providing data-driven insights for product development. Previously, as a Research Scientist, significant focus was on human factors research related to various vehicle comfort features. Prior experience at the University of Michigan-Dearborn involved roles as a Graduate Student Instructor, Research Assistant, and Lab Proctor, supporting multiple engineering courses and conducting studies on human behavior and state analysis. Yourui holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, alongside a Master’s degree in the same field and a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature from Ocean University of China.
