Vinay S. Dhawan has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Vinay. S. currently serves as the Vice President of Digital and Store Technology at Genuine Parts Company since September 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President - IT Management Office at the same company starting from November 2020. Before joining Genuine Parts Company, they were the Vice President of Technology and CIO for NAPA Mexico/ US NAPA Business Solutions Delivery from April 2017 to November 2020. Vinay has also served as a Board Member for the Technology Association of Georgia since February 2021. Additionally, they held the role of Chief Information Officer and VP at UAP Inc. from December 2014 to June 2017. Vinay. S. has also served on the Board of Directors for Atlanta Electronic Commerce Forum from March 2014 to March 2016 and Health MPowers from September 2013 to December 2014. Before joining UAP Inc., Vinay worked as the Senior Director of Operations & Infrastructure at Genuine Parts Company from November 2012 to December 2014. Vinay. S. began their career at Sun Trust Bank as the VP of IT Infrastructure, overseeing various infrastructure initiatives from February 2009 to December 2012. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Manager at Accenture from May 2003 to February 2009. Vinay has also gained international experience as a Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme from July 2001 to July 2002. Vinay. S. started their career at PwC as an Auditor in Business Advisory Services from September 2000 to July 2001.

Vinay S. Dhawan completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business in the years 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a BA degree in Economics & French from Leeds University, UK, from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they earned another BA degree in Economics and French from the University of Pau, France, during the academic year 1998 to 1999. Additionally, Vinay has obtained various certifications in IT Service Management, including PMP, ITILv3, and Six Sigma Black Belt, in 2013 and onwards.
