Peng Lin

Peng Lin has worked in the technology industry since 1997. Peng began their career as a Research Associate at the Intelligent System Lab at the University of South Carolina. Peng then worked as a Research Scientist for Summus, Inc. from 1999 to 2001, and as a Senior Algorithm Designer for Teranex Systems from 2001 to 2002. Peng then worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Samsung from 2002 to 2005 and Sony from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Manager of Imaging Systems Group and Senior Staff Engineer Manager at Aptina and Qualcomm, respectively. Peng then worked as a Director of Technology at MediaTek USA from 2015 to 2016, and as VP of Algorithm and Software and Sr. Director of Algorithm and Software Group at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are the CTO at GEO Semiconductor, Inc., leading next generation automotive imaging technology and product development, and driving innovation in viewing and sensing for ADAS and AD.

Peng Lin has obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.S. in Mathematics from Peking University, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Peking University.
