Marjorie Rossell Ortega

Marjorie Rossell Ortega has a diverse work experience in ethics and compliance roles. Marjorie currently serves as the Vice President of Ethics and Compliance Americas at GEODIS. In this position, Marjorie is responsible for counseling the business on legal, ethics, and compliance matters in Latin America. Marjorie has developed and implemented business conduct policies to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Prior to their current role, Marjorie worked at Bridgestone as the Director of Legal & Compliance - Latin America. During their tenure, they strengthened and optimized the company's compliance and ethics program, achieving the goal of becoming the most respected company. Marjorie developed standardized investigation protocols, compliance procedures, and ethics policies in Latin America, and implemented a whistleblower hotline to improve transparency and accountability.

Additionally, Marjorie worked as an attorney at Baker & McKenzie, where they supported a global case involving transactions and class actions with Bridgestone Firestone Venezolana, C.A. and Bridgestone Americas.

Marjorie Rossell Ortega has a strong educational background in ethics, compliance, and law. Marjorie obtained a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - International certification from the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Legal & Corporate Law from Universidad Metropolitana in 2004. Marjorie also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Universidad de Carabobo, which they obtained in 2001. Additionally, Marjorie has completed the Management Advance Program from IESA. Marjorie also holds a Certified Taxation Management certification from Universidad Metropolitana, although the year of completion is not specified.
