Carlos Gomez Andonaegui has a varied work experience. Carlos began their career in 1999 as a DSP at GE and a VP Energy at Solar Turbines. In 2005, they became the CEO of Sport City, a chain of health clubs owned by Grupo Marti. During their time as CEO, they grew the operations in terms of sales, EBITDA, and regional penetration. In 2008, they became the CEO of Grupo Marti and held this position until 2013. In 2013, they Co-Founded Nebia and became Chairman, and in 2015 they became a S15 at Y Combinator. In 2017, they Co-Founded Spinciti and in 2022 they became a Board Member at Brondell Inc. Carlos is also the Co-Founder of Cascada Ventures, an innovation platform and investment vehicle, and the Founder of Endeavor Mexico.
Carlos Gomez Andonaegui attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1991 to 1994, where they earned their Preparatoria degree in Bicultural studies. Carlos then continued their studies at the same school from 1994 to 1998, earning an Ingenieria degree in Mecanico Electrico. In 2002, they completed their MBA at IPADE Business School. In 2014, they attended Stanford University to participate in the Stanford Endeavor Leadership Program.
