Victor Hugo Ferman Cortez

Victor Hugo Ferman Cortez has over a decade of maritime engineering experience, currently serving as a 2nd Engineer Officer at Geoquip Marine since June 2021. Prior to this, Victor held the same title at Stabbert Maritime - Ocean Services from June 2013 to June 2022, working on the MULTI PURPOSE OCEAN INTREPID DP2 in the Gulf of Mexico. Earlier roles include 3rd Assistant Engineer Officer positions at Soldstad Offshore aboard the DVS DP2 NOR VALIANT and Pico Energy on the M/V Platform PICO IV. Victor's career began at Bumi Armada and PEMEX, where initial engineering experience was gained on various offshore support vessels and oil tankers. Victor is a graduate of Escuela Nautica Mercante de Mazatlan, holding a degree as a Mechanical Engineer Officer.
